Loryn's First Seder, turning 18 months, and Easter

This is Loryn's 2nd passover but she went to her 1st Seder this year. Loryn definitely doesn't like to sit still for the entire dinner (understandable, since it is super long even for an adult) but she enjoyed it. She LOVED the charoset and after a few attempts she loved matzah too. We had the Seder over at my brother-in-law's place and will make this a family tradition every year. We hope to have it at our place next year. Since Loryn and Gabriel were a bit too little to look for the afikomen, Loryn was just given it. She ate the whole thing. These are a few of the things Loryn got to try for the first time during her 1st Seder: charoset, matzah, parsely dipped in salt water (not a fan), gefilte fish (she ate a few bites), matzo ball soup, and passover cookies.
Yummy Matzah and Charoset
Loryn was eating her brisket and potatoes. She loved it all.
Checking out what Gabriel was doing during the Seder.

Loryn turned 18 months old on the 2nd of April. Loryn weighs 21 pounds 13 ounces (13th percentile) and is 32 1/4 inches tall (63rd percentile). She is still very afraid of doctors. We really liked the new doctor's office and her new doctor. The doctor took his time to answer questions and was very straight forward in his answers (which is nice). Loryn had her last immunization shot for awhile. She had her Hep A shot and her next round of immunizations will be when she is 4. It was suggested that we look into swim lessons for Loryn this summer, which we were kinda already thinking about...so, we will see how it goes. It was also suggested that we can start to try to potty train. We are trying to introduce Loryn to her potty seat. She loves sitting on there and reading or playing with toys, but so far still haven't peed or pooped in the potty. She is quick to tell us after she poops, so it is a start.
Lollipop after her shot. She was such a good girl

Even though we don't celebrate Easter, we went for the second year to go and get Loryn's picture taken with the Easter bunny. Last year we went to the mall and had her picture taken, this year we went to a consignment shop near our house that was doing a fun Easter event for the kids. Loryn even got her very first (and probably only) Easter egg. Since Loryn loves bunnies, we thought it was a great idea, and we were right. Loryn was a little nervous at first (didn't cry) but then she didn't want to leave the bunny. She kept walking back over to the Easter bunny and waving and blowing kisses. It was all very cute.

Loryn loved meeting the Easter Bunny.

Playing Peek-A-Boo with the Easter Bunny

Loryn was playing with her yellow easter egg, and kept dropping it.
We found Loryn in the garage in her umbrella stroller. Apparently she was ready to go for a walk.
