A trip to MOSI

Yesterday we decided to take Loryn to MOSI. I wish she had a bit more patience as there were some great exhibits on disasters and weather, the amazing you (about the human body), and an exhibit on drugs. Loryn's favorite part was the play area outside and her least favorite was the tornado experience/hurricane experience. While there we also checked out the butterflies.

Birthday Party at School

The day after Loryn's birthday, I took off of work so I could be there at Loryn's school for snack time. I was able to sit in on circle time before snack time and just had a wonderful time.

Here are some pictures of Loryn at her school. Due to some of the photography rules, I didn't take any pictures of her friends. I will say that one of the little boys looks like a real version of Jimmy Neutron (if you know the Nickelodeon cartoon)

Daddy Daughter Date Night

Last night, Chick-Fil-A hosted their annual Daddy-Daughter Date Night. We thought it would be a great idea for Loryn and Eric to go. We definitely talked up the event to Loryn. She picked out a dress to wear and then we did her hair. Eric dressed up in a suit and it was just so sweet.

From what I heard they had a great time at dinner. Eric bought Loryn chicken nuggets and they played in the play area and had a nice dinner together. Loryn came home with a swag bag. Inside the bag she had stickers (which she put all over Daddy-pink fairy stickers), a cow pez dispenser, a chick-fil-a cow stuffed animal, a coupon for free breakfast and a booklet of activities.

Here are the pictures that I took before the event and the 1 picture Eric took:

Ethan giving "high five"

Today we decided to teach Loryn about the value of money. We gave her and Ethan equal change to deposit into their piggy banks. Loryn counted the change for both her and Ethan and helped Ethan by putting his money away too.

Afterwards, we gave high fives. Here's the video

Ethan's 6 months old

Happy Birthday Loryn

Last weekend was Loryn's 3rd Birthday.

We had such a great weekend celebrating her birthday. I baked cupcakes and Eric grilled some food. Loryn had a blast with her bounce house and all the friends that came to celebrate.

After everyone went home and after nap time, we all went back out into the bounce house. Even Ethan got a turn
